The Sharjah Aquarium is a public aquarium located in the city of Sharjah, in the United Arab Emirates. The aquarium opened in 2012 and is home to over 400 species of marine life from the Gulf of Oman, the Arabian Gulf and the Red Sea. The aquarium features two main tanks, a shark tank and a coral reef tank. It also has several smaller tanks with different species of fish, and a touch pool where visitors can feel starfish, sea urchins, and other creatures. The aquarium also has a 3D cinema and a sea-themed café.
